Join us at Santa Fe's most exciting new exhibition venue--CONTAINER--on October 29 from 3 to 6 pm for a chance to meet one of contemporary art's greatest stars--Swoon!
Swoon, the first female street artist to break throught art world barriers from the streets to the museums, inspired an entire generation of women artists. Her capacity for empowerment did not stop there. Swoon (whose given name is Caledonia Dance Curry) has gone on to sail a raft into the Venice Biennale, create a Music Box Village in New Orleans, transform a church into a shelter for formerly incarcerated family members, activate New York with Little Amal, collaborate with PBS on a box truck diorama, win two Sundance fellowships for her new feature length film, and publish a new monograph.
